Countdown
Days, hours, minutes and seconds until any moment — live. Everything stays on your device. ← Workbench
How it works
The countdown does not count ticks — it stores the exact target moment and compares it with the clock on every refresh. That is why it stays correct even if this tab sat in the background for hours: the display simply catches up the moment you look at it. Days with 23 or 25 hours (daylight-saving switches) are handled by using the calendar itself rather than assuming every day has 86,400 seconds.
Save on this device keeps the countdown in your browser's local storage, so it is still here tomorrow. Nothing is sent anywhere — this page makes no network requests at all. Copy share link builds a link with the date filled in, so someone else can open the same countdown in their own browser.
